The yellow fruit I bought was marked with a sticker with a unique code, containing information about the kind of article and its weight and price.
We could have removed it after the sell-buy-transaction, but just left the information there, even after it rendered useless.

No way! In the deeper pathways of the subconsious universal mind (in which we all partake) nothing is ever useless... or is it? ;-)
I definitely agree! But how to find the use? If this use does not clearly unveil itself, it is so (too?) easy to just declare somehing as useless...
which is, in a way, no different from its opposite if you can't name it more exactly than this. anyway, no matter, on to other imagework
